I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I hold a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. I have additional training in the trauma informed modalities of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I am also trained in the Clinical Applications of Infra-low Frequency Neurofeedback utilizing the Othmer Method. Neurofeedback or EEG biofeedback is an evidence based practice that has applications for a wide variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and obsessive thoughts in as few as 20 session for some clients.
I offer a strength-based practice and recognize that all individuals and family systems are capable of positive growth and change at every stage of the life cycle. The goal of my practice is to help clients achieve balance in their lives by relieving symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder stemming from childhood abuse or neglect, undergoing desired changes, acquiring new skills, and developing a deeper understanding of self and others.
I am excited about the opportunity to be the Clinical Director of the Neurofeedback Clinic of Northern Colorado™. I have witnessed truly remarkable change and healing, particularly in relieving the symptoms of PTSD and ADD/ADHD using neurofeedback. I look forward to helping many, many more people reach the potential in their life so they can live the life they deserve.
